Academic Commons Announces Contact-Free Item Pickup and Return

For members of our campus community that prefer contact free services, the Academic Commons now offers Contact-Free Item Pick-Up service. The service is available to UACCM students, staff, and faculty. This service allows members of the campus community with a current UACCM ID and Account to request items within the library’s collection and reserve them. Students, faculty, and staff may access the library collection online by visiting the Academic Commons website and logging into the library catalog with their UACCM ID and Password.   The user may search the catalog for an item and reserve the item by clicking “Place a Hold.” Once a user places the selected item on hold, Academic Commons staff will be notified of the request through our automated system and hold the item for the user for three business days. Holocaust Posters on Exhibit at E. Allen Gordon Library

The Holocaut Exhibit on display at the E. Allen Gordan Library. When you visit the E. Allen Gordon Library, you will see a new exhibit on display about the Holocaust.  As the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton hosted its annual Holocaust Survivor Series featuring Alfred M ünzer, students have an opportunity to explore more about the genocide of six million Jewish men, women, and children. The posters originated from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum based out of Washington, D.C., and covers a broad history.  Poster exhibit on display, E. Academic Commons now open

UACCM Library Complex Throughout the summer, the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton has made many changes, additions and improvements.  Among the most visible of these is Timberwolf Crossing, a sidewalk project funded by a grant from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department located along the north side of campus near University Boulevard.  Another improvement that is less visible to passersby is the college's new Academic Commons, an area in the Library Complex specifically tailored to better assist students. The Academic Commons provides and combines three of the college's existing services: the E.
