A Journey Just Beginning: UACCM Class of 2021-2022

Graduation is a time for pomp and circumstance. A time for students and faculty alike to reflect on a successful year full of challenges and triumphs. A time to recognize resilience and a job well done. The ceremony has passed and the summer has made its way here, but our graduates’ big plans are just beginning. We caught up with UACCM graduates Ethan Kuettle, Shaleah Sandberg, Joey South, Emily Simpson, and Tania Esmeralda Armas to learn more about their UACCM journey and future plans. For some, UACCM is a stepping stone to a four-year university. “UACCM changed my entire perspective on what college can be,” said Ethan Kuettle, General Education graduate. “In high school, I was mortified at the thought of going to college because I thought I was going to be overwhelmed. My time at UACCM taught me how to adapt and overcome any obstacle that stood before me.” Ethan plans to continue his education at UCA in business management. UACCM SPRING 2013 GRADUATES

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton announces its spring 2013 graduates. Commencement ceremonies were held Saturday, May 11, at the H.B. White Auditorium of Morrilton High School. UACCM outgrew its facilities to host graduation on its campus some years ago, and the South Conway County School District School Board allows the College to hold its commencement ceremonies in the auditorium at the high school. Even still, the faculty, staff, administration, family, and friends who gather to show their support to graduates exceed the capacity of the auditorium. For this reason, UACCM held two ceremonies, the first at 10:00 a.m. and the second at 1:00 p.m. Former United States Senator and University of Arkansas System Board of Trustees member David Pryor attended the 10:00 a.m. ceremony and congratulated graduates with words of encouragement. UACCM Fall Graduation 2011

     The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton honored another class of UACCM graduates during the 2011 Fall Commencement Ceremonies on Saturday, December 10. Friends, family, faculty, and staff gathered at the H.B. White Auditorium to celebrate the more than 400 students who received their Certifications and/or associate degrees. Members of the UACCM Board of Visitors and Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt, the president of the University of Arkansas System, were also in attendance. UACCM Winter Commencement Ceremony

This year, the UACCM Commencement ceremony scheduled for   Saturday, December 10,   2011 at Morrilton High School's H.B. White Auditorium will be split into two separate ceremonies to be able to accommodate our increasing number of graduates and their families! Graduating students will receive a letter from the Registrar's Office concerning which of the two ceremonies they are scheduled to attend.
