Holocaust Posters on Exhibit at E. Allen Gordon Library

The Holocaut Exhibit on display at the E. Allen Gordan Library. When you visit the E. Allen Gordon Library, you will see a new exhibit on display about the Holocaust.  As the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton hosted its annual Holocaust Survivor Series featuring Alfred M ünzer, students have an opportunity to explore more about the genocide of six million Jewish men, women, and children. The posters originated from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum based out of Washington, D.C., and covers a broad history.  Poster exhibit on display, E. Holocaust Survivor Will Speak At Morrilton on March 5

Courtesy of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and Alfred Munzer.  Holocaust survivor Alfred Münzer will speak at Morrilton as part of the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton’s 11 th annual Holocaust Survivor Series. He will lecture at Morrilton High School’s Devil Dog Arena at 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, to secondary students in UACCM’s service area. Later that evening at 6:30 p.m., he will speak again at UACCM’s Fine Arts Auditorium. A question and answer session and photo opportunities will follow the presentations. Both events are free and open to the public. When Alfred Münzer was born in Nazi-occupied Netherlands on November 23, 1941, his parents knew their youngest of three children was entering a dire situation. HOLOCAUST SPEAKER RETURNS TO UACCM

Almost 70 years have passed since the end of World War II, which concluded a horrendous time in our world’s history known as the Holocaust. The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton and the University of Central Arkansas are proud to announce that Henry Greenbaum, a Holocaust survivor, will visit Morrilton and Conway in March for three speaking appearances. Greenbaum is a speaker volunteer from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. On March 12, he will share his story at 9:45 a.m. at the H.B. White Auditorium on the Morrilton High School campus. At 6:30 that evening, he will speak at the Fine Arts Auditorium at UACCM. Additionally, Greenbaum will speak at 7:00 p.m. on March 13 at the Conway Senior High School James H. Clark Auditorium. Each of these events is free and open to the public.
