Use your remaining financial aid for textbooks and a meal plan

Reserve your textbooks online now, then charge to your financial aid when you pick them up. And remember, you can add a meal plan to your charges, too! Students may charge to their financial aid two times per semester. Financial aid charges may be made in the University Bookstore on the following dates: Monday, August 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, August 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. August 17 to 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. August 19 to 31 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you have questions about Bookstore charges to financial aid, textbook reservations and rentals, or meal plans, call the Bookstore at 501-977-2127.

UACCM TO SHOW 'AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRON' FOR STARLIGHT CINEMA AUGUST 11

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will show “Avengers Age of Ultron” Tuesday, August 11, at the Starlight Cinema Back-to-School Bash. The free community-wide movie event will start at sundown, around 8:30 p.m., on the lawn outside the Fine Arts Auditorium at UACCM. Attendees are encouraged to dress up like their favorite superhero for this family-friendly, back-to-school bash! A concession stand will open at 8:00 p.m. with free hot dogs, popcorn, and drinks while supplies last. The event is not ticketed, and guests should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors to the Fine Arts Auditorium. This sequel to the smash-hit comic-book epic "The Avengers" finds the iconic superhero team dealing with a threat of their own making: a sentient robot called Ultron (voice of James Spader), who was originally designed as part of a peacekeeping program.
