UACCM Commencement Exercises Approaching

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will hold its fall commencement exercises beginning on Monday, Dec. 3, at 6:30 p.m. in the Workforce Training Center’s Tyson Hall. The UACCM Registrar’s Office reports that 307 students are candidates for fall graduation. University of Arkansas System President Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt will attend the Dec. 10 ceremony and UA System Trustee Kelly Eichler will attend the Dec. 3 ceremony on behalf of the UA System. A reception will be held in the front lobby of the Workforce Training Center following each ceremony.  Family and friends of the graduates are invited to attend the ceremonies. Handicap parking and drop-off will be available in the back of the building. All other guests should park on the east side of the building. Graduates should arrive by 6 p.m. to assemble for the graduation procession into Tyson Hall.  The dates for individual commencement exercises are listed below. Winners Announced for Miss UACCM Pageant

Micaela Reeves, 19, of Greenbrier was crowned Miss UACCM 2018 after competing in the twelfth annual UACCM Pageant on Saturday, November 3, at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton’s Fine Arts Auditorium. Reeves is the daughter of Candice Rudd & Michael Reeves. She is a second-year student at UACCM pursing an Associate of Arts degree in general education. After completing the necessary courses, she will apply to the UACCM practical nursing and registered nursing programs.   Reeves was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a tanning package courtesy of Copper Tanz, Morrilton; a product basket courtesy of Hairport, Morrilton; and a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton. She also received gift certificates from several Morrilton businesses, including Southern Roots Hair Salon, Magie Ford Lincoln Co., and Merle Norman & More.
