Zimmerman Represents UACCM at Arkansas 2032
University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton student Cody Zimmerman was selected from a large number of applicants to represent UACCM at the “Arkansas 2032” leadership conference hosted by the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. Student representatives from each of Arkansas’ public and private, two-year and four-year colleges and universities were invited to attend. Students selected from each school were required to have a record of academic excellence, a display of strong leadership, and to enjoy engaging in issue and policy discussions. “ Arkansas 2032” was held to prepare the student representatives to draft a written proposal of recommendations and suggestions on how to improve upon Arkansas’ economic development, higher education, public health, race relations, the aging population, and K-12 education.
