We are back with another Faculty Feature! Lana Medlin, science instructor, has been at UACCM for three and a half years now. Learn more about her below. Why do you think students should choose UACCM? Having taught at 4 different schools in 4 different states, I have a basis for comparison. UACCM is one of the most caring. That is, staff, faculty, and administration are focused on providing the best preparation for each student's career pathway.  What is your favorite part of working at UACCM? I love being in the classroom. There is nothing better than seeing students' eyes light up when they understand a concept.  What are your favorite activities or hobbies? I love anything outdoors; gardening, hiking, and fishing. I also enjoy woodworking and playing musical instruments.  Do you have any tips or tricks for UACCM students? Nothing replaces time spent in effective study. Ask your instructor how to find your best study method!

This month’s featured #FacultyFriday is Terry Cleaver, surveying instructor! Terry has been an instructor for 19 years now. He is an alumnus of Petit Jean Vo-Tech (now UACCM) and studied surveying and drafting between 1983 and 1984. What is your favorite part about working at UACCM? Getting to know my colleagues and the part they play here at school. What are your favorite things to do or hobbies you enjoy when you're not at work? Enjoy being outside when possible, watching anything Razorback, and playing with my dogs. Why should students choose UACCM? The opportunities that present themselves after graduation. Whether it is transferring to another school to complete a four-year degree, or going to work in a technical field that you trained in here. Good things happen after graduation from UACCM. Do you have any special tips or tricks UACCM students should know? If you like being outside and working with some really high-tech measuring gadgets to help in building the infrastructure...
