Southwestern Energy Pledges $200,000 Towards UA Community College Petroleoum Technology Program

UA Community College at Morrilton develops Associate degree to meet the demands of expected workforce needs in the Fayetteville Shale play region. April 18, 2006 – As a part of its leadership role in the growing Fayetteville Shale play area, Southwestern Energy Company (NYSE: SWN) today announced a three-year pledge totaling $200,000 to the University of  Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. The funds will fuel efforts to develop the College’s new Associate of Applied Science degree in Petroleum Technology.
