How have your mentors affected you?

Image
January is National Mentoring Month, a time to recognize mentors that made a difference in our lives and to volunteer to mentor others. According to Mentoring.org, “Young adults who face an opportunity gap but have a mentor are 55% more likely to be enrolled in college than those who did not have a mentor.” Having a trusted mentor can make all the difference when it comes to student success. There are several opportunities to take part in Mentoring Month. Here are a few days to celebrate: January 6: I am a Mentor Day January 17: International Mentoring Day January 27: Thank Your Mentor Day For more about the benefits of mentoring and ways to get involved, visit mentoring.org.
