$20,000 Raised During UACCM Car Show and Auction
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) Foundation raised a
total of $20,000 during the UACCM Car Show and Auction event. All donations and auction
proceeds will go to the UACCM Automotive Technology Program.
“The funds raised from the car show and auction will directly benefit UACCM students,” said
UACCM Development Officer Lauren Bryan.
“The Automotive Technology program at UACCM is already a top-tier training facility for
students. These funds will ensure that it continues to provide the most relevant and up-to-date
training available,” Bryan said.
The auction featured a 1957 Triumph TR-3, donated by former UA System President Dr. Donald
Bobbitt and his wife Susan and maintained by the UACCM Automotive Technology Program.
Several awards were given out as voted by attendees of the event, including:
People’s Choice: Ken Coyle, 1962 Austin Healy 3000
