UACCM Foundation Offering Spring 2021 Scholarships
The UACCM Foundation is pleased to announce scholarship opportunities for students for the spring 2021 semester.
The various scholarships provides financial assistance for a wide variety of purposes, whether to encourage students to pursue a specific degree, or for those who live in certain counties, or to reward students for academic excellence. These scholarships vary in how much is awarded, while some are given up to two students.
To apply, go to UACCM Financial Aid and complete the required documents to be eligible for these scholarships. The deadline for these scholarships are November 1.
Beverly Parks Memorial Scholarship
Who is eligible?
- Previous completion of 12 credit hours at UACCM with a BUS, FIN, or ACCT prefix
- Full-time student in pursuit of an AAS in Business
- 3.00 cumulative GPA
What is awarded?
- Two $500 scholarships to be applied to tuition, fees, or books
Christian Clinic Nursing Scholarship
Who is eligible?
- First-time, returning, or transfer student
- Accepted into the LPN or RN programs
- Full-time student
- 2.50 cumulative GPA
What is awarded?
- Two $500 scholarships that are renewable
Century League Scholarship
Who is eligible?
- Must be a graduate from a Conway County high school
- 3.00 high school GPA
- Enroll in at least 12 credit hours
- First-time, returning, or transfer
What is awarded?
- $500 scholarship
Charles Stover Memorial Scholarship
Who is eligible?
- First-time, returning, or transfer student
- In pursuit of a technical or professional degree or certificate at UACCM
- Full-time student
- 2.00 cumulative GPA
What is awarded?
- $500 scholarship that is renewable
Clarence Cecil Janes Scholarship
Who is eligible?
- First-time, returning, or transfer student
- Major in Welding Technology
- Preference given to Morrilton High School graduate
What is awarded?
- $150 scholarship
Dr. Ernest P. Griffin, Jr. Endowment Scholarship
Who is eligible?
- First-time, returning, or transfer student
- Full-time student in pursuit of an AA or AS degree (transfer)
- 2.50 cumulative GPA (UACCM GPA supersedes high school)
- Require no remedial courses based on placement test scores
What is awarded?
- Two $400 scholarships
Faculty Merit
Who is eligible?
- Previous completion of 24 credit hours at UACCM with cumulative GPA of 3.25
- Full-time student
What is awarded?
- Two $500 scholarships that are renewable
James W. Pettry Memorial Scholarship
Who is eligible?
- Must be in 2nd year of program of study with cumulative GPA of 2.00
- Full-time student in pursuit of two-year technical degree
- Preference given to student majoring in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
What is awarded?
- Two $500 scholarships that are renewable
Pauline Cathcart Memorial Scholarship
Who is eligible?
- First-time, readmit, or transfer student
- In pursuit of a technical or professional degree or certificate at UACCM
- Preference given to Pope County residents
- 2.00 cumulative GPA
- Must submit a letter of reference from a current/past employer, current/past teacher or school administrator, minister/youth minister/church leader or other non-relative who can attest to the applicant's scholar or professional success or strength of character.
- Priority given to member of Connect Church, Russellville, AR
What is awarded?
- Two $500 scholarships
Parker Cadillac Automotive Scholarship
Who is eligible?
- Returning Student
- Must have completed 30 credit hours towards the AAS in Automotive Service Technology prior to the fall semester
- 3.00 cumulative GPA
What is awarded?
- $2,794 scholarship
Toad Suck Daze
Who is eligible?
- Applicant must be a graduate of a Faulkner County high school, homeschooled and living within a Faulkner County school district, or currently enrolled at UACCM during the upcoming spring Term.
- Applicant must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, based on a 4.0 scale.
- Applicant must show proof of completing at least 20 hours of volunteer service while in high school.
- Applicant must submit a one-page essay describing the volunteer service contributed to the community, how and why it benefited the community, and what was learned.
- Applicant must include three letters of recommendation: one from a supervisor where applicant provided volunteer service, one from a teacher or other education professional, and one of the applicant’s choosing.
- Applicant should demonstrate financial need.
- Scholarship recipients must complete 12 hours of volunteer service at the Toad Suck Daze festival this year.

Wade Walters
Who is eligible?
- First-time, returning, or transfer student
- Major in Welding Technology
- Preference given to students from Pope County
What is awarded?
- $500 scholarship
Staff Memorial Scholarship in Honor of Wanda Hensley, Cande Jaramillo, and Sheila Sommers
Who is eligible?
- First-time, returning, or transfer students
- 2.75 cumulative GPA
- Enroll in at least 6 hours
What is awarded?
- $500 scholarship
