How to Know if UACCM is Closed Due to Inclement Weather

Winter is here, and we wanted to remind the UACCM community on how we communicate a closing or delay due to inclement weather. The safety and concern of our students, faculty, and staff is our highest priority, and there are several ways that commuters can learn about class cancellation.

Please note that UACCM will only send out communication if there is a closing or delay. If there is no communication, then the college is open and classes will continue as scheduled.

Make sure to always use your best judgment during inclement weather and stay safe! If you cannot safely come to campus, communicate with your instructors.  

Here are the ways we communicate class cancellations: 

  • The Emergency Alert System is a text or voice messaging system that UACCM uses for severe weather events, campus closings, and security incidents.
    • You can sign up for notifications by logging into your Portal page (My UACCM PORTAL found on the UACCM homepage), click on the Emergency Alert tab, and provide contact information.
    • You can also use the same tab to update your emergency contact information if you have previously signed up.
  • The UACCM App is available to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
  • Check your UACCM email.

  The following guidelines apply to any vehicles parked on the UACCM campus at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. FOR VISITORS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  Purchase an eclipse parking pass for $100 from the either of the tents located on University Boulevard  (🟧 on map). Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023, Zaybrau Williams, a little more. Why did you choose UACCM? I chose UACCM because of the community size and the various opportunities that are available to me. Student Onboarding Due March 25

In preparation for Fall 2024 advising & registration, students should log into Workday and complete a series of tasks called Student Onboarding : Students should log in to Workday and complete these tasks:  Navigate to  myapps.microsoft.com  in a web browser.  Log in with your UACCM email and password when prompted. You may also be prompted to authenticate using an authenticator app or secure code.  A dashboard with multiple apps will display. Locate the blue app titled “Workday” and select it.  You are now logged into Workday!  Once logged in, you will do the Federal Student Aid Authorization and then complete My Tasks .  This will include such things editing your contact information (if necessary), editing your personal information (if necessary), adding My Friends and Family (emergency contact information), and other tasks. When entering your My Friends and Family information, you must select Emergency Contact as one of the relationship types or you will get an error message .
