Arkansas 2032 Conference

UACCM is looking for one student to represent the college at the "Arkansas 2032" Conference.
The Clinton School will be hosting a conference for “Arkansas 2032” initiative on April 27-28, and they have asked UACCM to select one student to attend as a representative from the college. The conference will bring students from all across the state together to plan our future of the next 20 years. All of the students who will be selected from each school in attendance are required to have a record of academic excellence, a display of strong leadership, and to enjoy engaging in issue and policy discussions.
The selection committee will begin taking applications from students on November 1 and will continue to accept them until Friday, December 2. In order to be considered in the selection process, students must have 24 credit hours completed by the end of this fall semester while having maintained a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Applicants should submit a completed application form (which can be found here http://www.uaccm.edu/current_student/2012_arkansas_2032_conference.pdf), 1 recommendation letter (details can be found on the application form), and a one-page essay expressing why they would like to attend this conference concerning Arkansas future.
Please bring all applications packets (application form, recommendation letter, and essay) to  a member of the Institutional Advancement staff, located in Room 104 of the UC building. For more information regarding the application process or the “Arkansas 2032” conference, please contact Mary Clark at (501) 977-2011 or clark@uaccm.edu.
