Thursday: Relay for Life Bake Sale Fundraiser

UACCM will hold a bake sale fundraiser benefitting the Conway/Perry Counties' Relay for Life on Thursday, April 8 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the University Center Lobby. Items will be sold in individual packages for $1 each, so make sure and bring some $$$! Thank you for supporting Relay for Life! UACCM Phi Beta Lambda members would like to thank everyone who donated to the March of Dimes during the PBL fundraiser Monday. All proceeds will be donated to the March of Dimes Walk of Wonder this Saturday at the PBL state leadership conference in LIttle Rock. Seven of UACCM's PBL members will be attending the events and presenting the donations. Thanks so much for the support!

Officials from Conway School District and the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) gathered in the James H. Clark Auditorium on Thursday, September 19 for an announcement and formal signing to solidify the new partnership between Conway School District and UACCM.  The partnership provides Conway High School students in various career and technical education (CTE) programs through Conway Area Career Center (CACC) the ability to earn a Certificate of Proficiency in those programs at no cost.  The ceremony featured remarks from both institutions, including a welcome from Conway High School Principal Dr. Kate Worley. UACCM Sees Largest Fall Enrollment Since 2011

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has reported a preliminary fall enrollment of 2,250 credit students. The growth comes despite financial aid delays due to issues with the new FAFSA form, as well as UACCM transferring to Workday Student, a new student information system.  The 2,250 credit students serve as the highest fall enrollment at UACCM since 2011. “I am so proud of the entire UACCM faculty and staff for their tireless work in overcoming multiple odds this year from standard recruitment competition to the new University of Arkansas systemwide Workday Student implementation, to the Department of Education’s FAFSA revamp disorder. UACCM Breaks Ground on Nursing and Science Center

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) broke ground for the new $16 million Nursing and Science Center on Friday.  The two-story, 36,000 square-foot Nursing and Science Center will be located southwest of Technology Building II on the UACCM campus and will feature seven science labs and classrooms, ten nursing labs and classrooms, and two student lounges for studying.  In attendance for the groundbreaking was Arkansas Rep. Rick Beck, University of Arkansas System President Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt, Conway County Judge Jimmy Hart, Morrilton Mayor Allen Lipsmeyer, District Director for Rep.
