Sunny Monday Class Cancelations & The Goal is to Go to College

Happy Monday, UACCM. It's President's Day! Even though we have to be at class/work today, the sun is shining (so it's not that bad, right?) Here are a couple of class cancelations for today:
  • Nancy Patterson (business instructor) is out today, and her classes are canceled
  • Ron Walsmith (petroleum technology) also has all classes canceled today
It's Say Go College Week! This is a week of activities and events happening at schools all over Arkansas getting high school students serious about a college education. UACCM is showing Sacred Heart, Wonderview, and Riverview seniors the ropes around UACCM this Wednesday, and Morrilton High School juniors this Friday. The students will take campus tours and learn about School Counts! and how to get other free money while on campus. They'll also get the chance to sit in on a student panel of current UACCM students and graduates who will share their experiences here.

High school students: need help filling out your FAFSA? College Goal Sunday is coming up next weekend! The event will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in rooms 109 and 112 in the UACCM Business Technology Center. Financial aid and other qualified workers will be on hand to answer questions, talk about free money options (including the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Scholarships), and more. Be sure to bring the following things with you to help fill out your FAFSA:
