#FacultyFriday: Terry Cleaver

The text to the right says, "#Faculty Friday, Terry Cleaver, Surveying Instructor." The image to the left is an image of Mr. Cleaver.

This month’s featured #FacultyFriday is Terry Cleaver, surveying instructor! Terry has been an instructor for 19 years now. He is an alumnus of Petit Jean Vo-Tech (now UACCM) and studied surveying and drafting between 1983 and 1984.

What is your favorite part about working at UACCM?

Getting to know my colleagues and the part they play here at school.

What are your favorite things to do or hobbies you enjoy when you're not at work?

Enjoy being outside when possible, watching anything Razorback, and playing with my dogs.

Why should students choose UACCM?

The opportunities that present themselves after graduation. Whether it is transferring to another school to complete a four-year degree, or going to work in a technical field that you trained in here. Good things happen after graduation from UACCM.

Do you have any special tips or tricks UACCM students should know?

If you like being outside and working with some really high-tech measuring gadgets to help in building the infrastructure of America, Surveying Technology may be for you. I would be happy to speak with anyone that might have an interest or just questions about surveying.

There is currently an increased demand for surveyors in the state of Arkansas. To learn more about the surveying program and opportunities after graduation, visit http://www.uaccm.edu/academics/degree_prog/sur.html.
