The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has announced a new educational partnership with Jay Hodge Ford, establishing four new, recurring scholarships designed to support students pursuing careers in high-demand automotive and technical fields.

The scholarships will be worth $1,500 per semester and are available to students enrolled in Automotive Service Technology, Collision Repair and Finishing Technology, or Diesel Technology.

“We felt it was important to invest in students at UACCM because we know how valuable skilled technicians are to our community and to the future of our dealership,” said Jay Hodge Ford General Manager Rick Wood.

Jay Hodge Ford currently employs several UACCM alumni across its service and repair departments, reinforcing a long-standing recruitment pipeline between the college and local industry.

“Jay Hodge Ford continues to be a great supporter of UACCM, and we are grateful for the establishment of these new scholarships,” said UACCM Development Officer Lauren Bryan. “They will greatly impact students and their journey in these three programs.”

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in one of the three eligible technical programs and maintain satisfactory academic standing. Selection will be based on academic progress, faculty recommendations, and a demonstrated commitment to pursuing a career in the automotive service sector.

Prospective students interested in applying for the Jay Hodge Ford Scholarship, as well as exploring additional institutional aid, can submit an application online at bit.ly/uaccmscholarships.

The priority deadline for Spring 2027 scholarship applications is November 1, 2026.
