UACCM RECEIVES SPONSORSHIP FROM WINROCK AUTOMOTIVE
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has received a $150,000 sponsorship of its Automotive Service Technology (AST) lab from the Winrock Automotive Group.
The sponsorship provides the Winrock Automotive Group with naming rights over the AST Lab, while also providing the UACCM program with funding that will allow for the purchase of up-to-date equipment, ensuring that students receive the most relevant, hands-on training available.
“This generous gift and naming opportunity is unique in that it represents the shared belief of UACCM and the Winrock Automotive Group in the importance of skilled training and the vocational trades in the state and nation,” said UACCM Chancellor Lisa Willenberg.
“This gift provides an opportunity to continue training quality auto technicians at UACCM by providing the latest training equipment and diagnostics necessary for training quality automotive professionals,” she continued.
The Winrock Automotive Group is composed of six dealerships in Arkansas that include Mercedes-Benz of Little Rock; Land Rover Little Rock; Volkswagen of Little Rock; Acura of Little Rock; Subaru of Little Rock; Honda World of Conway; and Honda of Jonesboro.
