Centennial Bank Donates to UACCM Nursing and Science Center

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has received a $25,000 sponsorship for the new Nursing & Science Center from Centennial Bank.  

The sponsorship is for the first floor student lounge inside the UACCM Nursing & Science Center. The lounge will be known as the “Centennial Bank Student Lounge.”

"UACCM is truly a wonderful asset to Morrilton and the surrounding areas," said Ashley Congine, VP/Branch Manager of Centennial Bank Morrilton. 

She continued, "Centennial Bank is happy to support UACCM and invest in an institution that adds so much value to our community. Having lived here for more than 40 years, I've seen growth beyond anything I could have imagined. It is encouraging to see the continued commitment of the students, faculty, and staff who help make the college such a positive force in our area."  

Centennial Bank is a customer focused bank that provides a broad range of commercial and retail banking and related financial services to businesses, investors, individuals and municipalities. Originally formed in Conway, Centennial Bank now has locations all across Arkansas, Florida, South Alabama, Texas, and New York.

How to Know if UACCM is Closed Due to Inclement Weather

Winter is here, and we wanted to remind the UACCM community on how we communicate a closing or delay due to inclement weather. The safety and concern of our students, faculty, and staff is our highest priority, and there are several ways that commuters can learn about class cancellation. Please note that UACCM will  only  send out communication if there is a closing or delay. If there is no communication, then the college is open and classes will continue as scheduled. Make sure to always use your best judgment during inclement weather and stay safe!
