Hall M. Calhoun III Scholarship Established at UACCM

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) is honored to share that the Hall M. Calhoun III Scholarship has been established as a new Foundation scholarship at the college.   The scholarship is established by Judy Calhoun in memory of her late husband Hall Calhoun.   Hall graduated from Morrilton High School in 1957 and after earning a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas, he returned to Morrilton and served as owner/manager of Oates-Calhoun Farms, Inc for over 50 years.   In addition, Hall also served on the Morrilton School Board for 8 years, Petit Jean State Bank Board for over 30 years, and on the Conway County Farm Bureau Board for 48 years.   “UACCM is so thankful to Judy and the entire Calhoun family for letting UACCM carry on the memory of Hall through this scholarship,” said UACCM Development Officer Lauren Bryan.   “Hall’s dedication to Morrilton left a generational impact on the ...

UACCM ANNOUNCES CHANCELLOR’S AND DEAN’S LISTS FOR 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is proud to announce the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists of students for the 2024-2025 school year. The Chancellor’s List recognizes full-time students who completed at least 12 college-level credit hours in a semester during the 2024-25 academic year with a 4.00 grade point average. Crafton Tull Survey Scholarship Established

The Crafton Tull Survey Scholarship has been established at The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM). The scholarship is designed to assist students enrolled in the UACCM survey degree program and invest in the future of Arkansas surveyors.  "UACCM is so thankful to Matt Crafton and Crafton Tull for establishing this scholarship that will impact UACCM surveying students for many years to come,” said UACCM Development Officer Lauren Bryan.  “Partnerships like this help UACCM continue to produce quality and capable individuals in their career fields,” Bryan continued. Crafton Tull, responsible for the design of the new UACCM Nursing and Science Center, currently has 26 UACCM graduates working at their firm.  The scholarship is for a total of $2,000 per year, split into $1,000 scholarships in the fall and spring semesters. UACCM REPORTS ALL-TIME ENROLLMENT RECORD

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has reported an all-time record enrollment of 2,764 credit students for Fall 2025, the highest reported enrollment for either a Fall or Spring semester in college history.  The enrollment of 2,764 credit students is a 20 percent increase over Fall 2024 and third consecutive fall of increased enrollment for UACCM.  The enrollment breaks the previous enrollment record held since Fall 2009, when the college reported 2,462 credit students.  UACCM is also posting a 10% increase in student semester credit hours over last fall, with 23,020.  “I am grateful to UACCM’s full faculty and staff for the strategy, foresight, recruiting, quality programming and instruction that UACCM is known for, and the grit and determination to battle back and exceed enrollment projections in a time of demographic changes, enrollment cliffs, and recent low confidence in higher education,” said UACCM Chancellor Lisa Willenberg....
