The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has named new leadership in key areas of campus advancement and development.

Shelby Beck has been named Chancellor’s Executive Assistant, Lauren Bryan has been named Development Officer, and Matthew Emery has been named Associate Director of Marketing and Public Relations.

Shelby Beck (Chancellor’s Executive Assistant), Lauren Bryan (Development Officer), and Matthew Emery (Associate Director of Communication and Public Relations) have been selected to help lead UACCM advancement and development moving forward.

“Each of these three individuals possess strong work ethics, professional training, and great attitudes for UACCM with an eagerness to take more on. As such, I could not be more excited to be working with each of them in their new roles,” said UACCM Chancellor Lisa Willenberg.

Beck joined UACCM in 2020 as Human Resource Analyst. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Student Affairs Administration degree from Arkansas Tech University. In her additional role of Chancellor’s Executive Assistant, Beck will assist the Chancellor in daily operations, as well as provide administrative duties for Institutional Advancement. Beck will continue to serve as Human Resource Analyst.

Bryan has served UACCM since 2020 as Coordinator of Student Life. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of College Student Personnel degree from ATU. As Development Officer, Bryan will serve as the primary contact for the UACCM Foundation. She will also oversee all Foundation events and development campaigns.

Emery became part of UACCM Institutional Advancement in 2022 as Digital Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from ATU and Master of Mass Communication degree from Arkansas State University. Moving to Associate Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Emery will oversee day-to-day media operations, including advertising.

“I see this as ‘practicing what we preach.’ Not only do we train students for meaningful careers, but we also place a special emphasis on human capital management by continually developing employees for advancement into positions of increasing responsibility. UACCM is lucky to be able to attract and retain such great quality faculty and staff,” said Willenberg.
