MAY STUDENT OF THE MONTH: JACOB WILLIAMS


Congratulations to UACCM's May Student of the Month, Jacob Williams!

Jacob is in his final semester at UACCM, pursuing an Associate of General Studies. After graduation, Jacob plans to transfer to UCA to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Jacob plans to try out for UCA's Basketball program!

His favorite things about UACCM include Student Activities, the Timberwolf Grill, and free tutoring offered in the UACCM Learning Center. Jacob is on the Student Activities Board, where he gets to help develop and host events on campus. 

He suggests all current and future Timberwolves utilize everything that UACCM has to offer, especially the private study rooms in the Library.

Throughout April, the UACCM Student Success Center reviewed nominations from faculty and staff regarding who they feel should be selected as student of the month.

Five Programs Granted Accreditation

UACCM Breaks Ground on Nursing and Science Center

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) broke ground for the new $16 million Nursing and Science Center on Friday.  The two-story, 36,000 square-foot Nursing and Science Center will be located southwest of Technology Building II on the UACCM campus and will feature seven science labs and classrooms, ten nursing labs and classrooms, and two student lounges for studying.  In attendance for the groundbreaking was Arkansas Rep. Rick Beck, University of Arkansas System President Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt, Conway County Judge Jimmy Hart, Morrilton Mayor Allen Lipsmeyer, District Director for Rep. Pay Tuition Bills and Review Account Balances Through Workday

UACCM is continuing to improve the student information system experience as we transition from Campus Connect to Workday Student. Students may now review Fall 2024 course fees and student account balances as well as pay tuition bills through Workday!  Workday allows students to easily see their current balance, as well as amounts coming due in the future, and payment history.
