Throughout the month of September, the UACCM Student Success Center reviewed nominations from faculty and staff regarding who they feel should be selected as student of the month.

Katie Robinson has been chosen as October's student of the month!

Katie is currently in her second year at UACCM. She is pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Business.

When not studying and attending classes, Katie enjoys spending quality time with her family.

We asked Katie what is unique about her UACCM story. She told us that she is a first-generation college student, and she picked UACCM because of the welcoming environment found on campus. Katie says that UACCM has helped her grow professionally and prepare to enter the workforce. Katie mentioned that she is grateful to Ms. Zambrano for the help she has given to her.

Katie shared tips for perspective and current UACCM students. She advises students to keep a daily planner and to take their college experience seriously.

Congratulations Katie!
