TRAP SHOOT FUNDRAISER SET FOR OCT. 7


The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) Foundation is hosting its “Aiming for Education” trap shoot fundraiser. The fundraiser will be held at the AGFC Dr. James E Moore Jr. Camp Robinson Firing Range in Conway, with registration beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 7. 

Awards will be given to the top three shooters in each of the following divisions:
Junior Division – Grades 5-8 (Shooting 1 round of 25).
Senior Division – Grades 9-12 (Shooting 2 rounds of 25).
Open Division – Post-high school and up (Shooting 2 rounds of 25). 

The fundraiser will follow AYSSP rules, and participants are required to use 7 ½ or 8 shot. Reloads are not allowed. 

The proceeds will provide broader opportunities and services to students and the residents of UACCM’s service area. 

Entry fees are $30 per shooter if pre-registered; or $35 per shooter if paid at the day of the event.

Sponsorship opportunities are available, ranging from $100 to $2500.

Pay Tuition Bills and Review Account Balances Through Workday

UACCM is continuing to improve the student information system experience as we transition from Campus Connect to Workday Student. Students may now review Fall 2024 course fees and student account balances as well as pay tuition bills through Workday!  Workday allows students to easily see their current balance, as well as amounts coming due in the future, and payment history. UACCM Breaks Ground on Nursing and Science Center

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) broke ground for the new $16 million Nursing and Science Center on Friday.  The two-story, 36,000 square-foot Nursing and Science Center will be located southwest of Technology Building II on the UACCM campus and will feature seven science labs and classrooms, ten nursing labs and classrooms, and two student lounges for studying.  In attendance for the groundbreaking was Arkansas Rep. Rick Beck, University of Arkansas System President Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt, Conway County Judge Jimmy Hart, Morrilton Mayor Allen Lipsmeyer, District Director for Rep.
