Bowles to Speak at UACCM for "Talks, Thoughts, and Treats" Series

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) will host Sasha Bowles on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at noon in the Student Union, as part of its "Talks, Thoughts, and Treats," speaker series.

Bowles, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, serves as the President of the Arkansas Chapter of the Trail of Tears and is a National Trail of Tears Board Member. She has been employed by Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism as a Park Interpreter II at Lake Dardanelle State Park for 18 years, providing educational programming about the nature, history, and culture of the Lake Dardanelle area. 

This event is sponsored by the UACCM Diversity and Inclusion committee, and admission is open to all with lunch provided free of charge.
