NTHS contributes annual donation to local non-profits

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) at UACCM contributed their annual donation to local non-profits in the Morrilton area. Each year, student members choose causes to support and this year’s beneficiaries were Abundant Life Pregnancy Resource Center and Conway County Literacy Council.

According to their website, “The National Technical Honor Society is an educational non-profit that exists to honor, recognize, and empower students and teachers in Career & Technical Education.” The UACCM chapter is comprised of students in eligible technical programs.

Along with their annual donations to local non-profits, NTHS members also pilot the recycling program on campus. Members of NTHS have the opportunity to apply for exclusive scholarships, are recognized with specific regalia at graduation, and are designated as NTHS members on their transcripts.  If you or a student you know are interested in joining NTHS, visit http://www.uaccm.edu/student/activities/student_organizations.html to learn more.
