Valentine’s Day might have passed, but we still want to show some love to our #UACCMAlumni! This month’s featured alumna is Eryn Zimmerebner.

Eryn graduated from the Registered Nursing program in December of 2014 and now works as an R.N. at Conway Regional Medical Center. 

What was your favorite thing about attending UACCM?

I loved the atmosphere. Everyone I encountered at school was there to help us be as successful as possible. The smaller class sizes allowed for more 1-on-1 time between students and teachers. It was easy to ask questions and get help if needed.

How did your experience at UACCM prepare you for your career and life today?

The nursing program was fantastic. The hands-on experience with the simulation, starting IVs, injections, etc. allowed me to be prepared as a nurse. The education and interaction allowed me to learn the skills I needed to become the best nurse I could be.

Why should students choose UACCM?

The ability to afford higher education was a big factor for me. I think you should choose UACCM because it is a quality education and they care about your success.

Looking back, what advice would you give yourself as a student?

Do not give up on your dreams there is always a place for you! UACCM will help you obtain those goals.

Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023, Zaybrau Williams, a little more. Why did you choose UACCM? I chose UACCM because of the community size and the various opportunities that are available to me. From being raised in a small community, UACCM felt like home. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming, it made choosing UACCM so easy. What are your educational and career goals? I am majoring in General Education. Once I finish with my associate degree here at UACCM, I plan to attend the University of Arkansas Medical School (UAMS) to further my education in Sonography. Student Onboarding Due March 25

In preparation for Fall 2024 advising & registration, students should log into Workday and complete a series of tasks called Student Onboarding : Students should log in to Workday and complete these tasks:  Navigate to  myapps.microsoft.com  in a web browser.  Log in with your UACCM email and password when prompted. You may also be prompted to authenticate using an authenticator app or secure code.  A dashboard with multiple apps will display. Locate the blue app titled “Workday” and select it.  You are now logged into Workday!  Once logged in, you will do the Federal Student Aid Authorization and then complete My Tasks .  This will include such things editing your contact information (if necessary), editing your personal information (if necessary), adding My Friends and Family (emergency contact information), and other tasks. When entering your My Friends and Family information, you must select Emergency Contact as one of the relationship types or you will get an error message .
