UACCM Hosting Open House Events for Conway and Clinton Locations

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will hold open house events for its recently relocated Adult Education Centers in Clinton and Conway. Both events are open to the public.

On Wed., June 2, the UACCM Adult Education Center in Clinton Open House will be at the 236 Factory Road location from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a ribbon-cutting at 11:30 am. During the past four years, the Clinton facility has served almost 300 students. On Thurs., June 3, the UACCM Adult Education Center in Conway Open House will be at the 1070 Markham Street location from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Conway Area Chamber of Commerce staff will be on-site for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 am. During the past four years, the Conway location has served over 2300 students with almost 200 individuals earning their GED credential. During the open houses, tours will be provided, food will be served, and door prizes will be awarded. Local radio stations will be on location conducting live breaks during a radio remote broadcast.

UACCM operates adult education centers in four counties, including Conway, Faulkner, Perry, and Van Buren Counties. The Adult Education Center, a section of the Division of Workforce Services, provides GED preparation and testing, ESL classes, WAGE job readiness training, career readiness certificates, and basic skills improvement with most services free of charge.
