Updates on the Spring 2021 Semester

Happy 2021 UACCM Students:

I hope you and yours were able to enjoy some down time and likely much needed and deserved rest and relaxation over the holidays providing each of you with a sense of renewal as we look forward to the Spring 2021 semester.

As you know, we were hoping to have most of you back on campus this Spring. However, due to the surge in COVID-19 cases in our region in recent weeks, it was determined the best plan for the majority was to mirror the instructional delivery from the Fall 2020 semester again for the Spring 2021 semester. Namely this involves the addition of the synchronous component to many classes. Please take a look at your schedule on Campus Connect to verify the delivery method available for each of your classes. 

I want to commend each of you for the phenomenal jobs you have done while furthering your education during such unprecedented times. Your dedication to your education could not be of greater importance as we face the future and you all look to continue your educations beyond UACCM or enter the workforce. With a full semester under our belts, UACCM is committed to continuing to provide a quality education to all students and make this semester great. 

Lastly, here is Version 5.0 of the Campus Covid Guidelines as adjusted for the Spring semester. Please continue to practice all hygiene protocol as well as wear your face coverings and social distance when possible.  We have done a great job on campus with no known transmitted cases occurring on campus, so let’s all do our best to keep it that way. For additional information, please continue to follow all UACCM social media channels.

Student Onboarding Due March 25

In preparation for Fall 2024 advising & registration, students should log into Workday and complete a series of tasks called Student Onboarding : Students should log in to Workday and complete these tasks:  Navigate to  myapps.microsoft.com  in a web browser.  Log in with your UACCM email and password when prompted. You may also be prompted to authenticate using an authenticator app or secure code.  A dashboard with multiple apps will display. Locate the blue app titled “Workday” and select it.  You are now logged into Workday!  Once logged in, you will do the Federal Student Aid Authorization and then complete My Tasks .  This will include such things editing your contact information (if necessary), editing your personal information (if necessary), adding My Friends and Family (emergency contact information), and other tasks. When entering your My Friends and Family information, you must select Emergency Contact as one of the relationship types or you will get an error message .

UACCM Eclipse Parking

  The following guidelines apply to any vehicles parked on the UACCM campus at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. FOR VISITORS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  Purchase an eclipse parking pass for $100 from the either of the tents located on University Boulevard  (🟧 on map). You are allowed to park anywhere in eclipse parking (blue on map). FOR STUDENTS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  You are allowed to park in eclipse parking (blue on map), free of charge. You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.  FOR STUDENTS CONDUCTING BUSINESS: You may park in the parking lot in front of the UC and BTC (pink on map). You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.

Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023, Zaybrau Williams, a little more. Why did you choose UACCM? I chose UACCM because of the community size and the various opportunities that are available to me. From being raised in a small community, UACCM felt like home. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming, it made choosing UACCM so easy. What are your educational and career goals? I am majoring in General Education. Once I finish with my associate degree here at UACCM, I plan to attend the University of Arkansas Medical School (UAMS) to further my education in Sonography.
