Fall 2020 Virtual Commencement

Celebrating fall 2020 graduates for seizing the challenges of this year, University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Chancellor Lisa Willenberg conferred degrees to students in the college’s virtual commencement. For the college’s December 2020 graduates, receiving their diplomas against the backdrop of a global pandemic—and all the challenges that presented—is truly something to applaud.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, UACCM postponed an in-person commencement ceremony until Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10:00 am at Devil Dog Arena on the MHS campus. Students from the spring 2020, fall 2020, and spring 2021 semesters will be invited to participate.

Speaking from the Willenberg welcomed graduates into the family of UACCM alumni, thanking them for entrusting the college for their education.

The program includes a slide of each graduate, with many providing personal messages to thank faculty members and loved ones. Slides will be available for students to download to celebrate their accomplishment on social media.

The ceremony can be viewed in its entirety below.
