During UACCM’s Health and Wellness Week, students, faculty, and staff can get free flu vaccines to stay healthy during this public health-minded semester. UACCM strongly encourages the campus community to get a flu vaccine, especially with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The shots will be administered by students in UACCM’s nursing program as well as representatives from the Arkansas Department of Health. Students need need to bring their driver’s license and health insurance information if that is available.

The vaccinations will be distributed at the Student Union on Monday, November 9, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

About Health and Wellness Week

The week-long stretch of events aim to bring more awareness to improving student wellness, including physical, emotional, and intellectual health. Events include a field day, with intramural activities; an interactive session with UACCM Student Development about emotional wellness, including a game that challenges students to consider if certain topics about health are fact or fiction; and more.
