UACCM Serves as Location for COVID-Issues Roundtable Featuring Boozman and Hill
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Fine Arts Auditorium was the location for a roundtable discussion organized by CHI St. Vincent Morrilton on Friday, August 28. The event, facilitated by CHI St. Vincent Morrilton President Bubba Arnold, included Senator John Boozman, Congressman French Hill, hospital administration and staff, and local officials.
The roundtable discussion dealt with issues related to COVID-19, its effects on the health care industry, and the needs of communities. Throughout the hour-long discussion, Senator Boozman and Congressman Hill took questions from a socially-distanced crowd about the federal response to the pandemic.
Boozman and Hill recognized UACCM Chancellor Lisa Willenberg and credited UACCM for its role in regional development and in the health care industry, including UACCM providing nursing graduates to fill the critical shortage of practical nurses, registered nurses, and related health-care workers.
