Private Scholarships Benefit Students

2019 Private Scholarship Awardees and Donors
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton celebrated the generosity of those who have contributed private scholarships, ensuring that students have the financial means to pursue degrees or certificates. Students and scholarship donors had lunch together during the college’s private scholarship luncheon held in the Workforce Training Center recently. These scholarships are often given in a person's memory, or to benefit a student in a certain field, or come from UACCM faculty or staff.

Along with official scholarship presentations, attendees heard a speech by an awardee and a song. The 2019 Academic All Star Sarah Fulmer gave an address about her decision to attend UACCM, her activities on campus, and her goals to teach at a university. And Jennifer Parish, an administrative assistant in the college’s physical plant, preformed “You Say” by Lauren Daigle.
