UACCM Students Enter National Technical Honor Society

New members of the National Technical Honor Society
The National Technical Honor Society now has a chapter at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton, inducting its first group made up of 28 students from several career and technical education programs.

The honor society celebrates the hard work and achievements of students, with an induction ceremony that included lighting a candle, reciting a pledge, and receiving a certificate. To be admitted, students must receive at least an overall 3.5 GPA.

The honor society’s mission statement is, “To honor student achievement and leadership in career and technical education, promote educational excellence, award scholarships, and enhance career opportunities for the NTHS membership.”
