School Closures: Due to the forecasts for flooding in Conway County and the surrounding areas, UACCM will be closed on Thursday, May 30, and Friday, May 31. Campus will be open on Wednesday, May 29, although the college urges students, faculty, and staff to be mindful of conditions in their vicinity. The health, safety and well-being of the UACCM community is the college’s top priority.
  • The Earle Love Day Care Center on campus will be CLOSED on Thursday and Friday.
  • UACCM Adult Education facilities in Morrilton, Clinton, Perryville, and Conway will also be CLOSED on Thursday and Friday. All other Adult Education facilities will remain OPEN.
Nursing Summer Classes:  Registered nursing classes scheduled on campus Tuesday, May 28, and Thursday, May 30, will not be held. However, students may access these classes online and watch from off campus.

Possible Closures Next Week: The college will continue to monitor the situation into next week to determine if additional closures are necessary. This may affect classes of the Summer I session to begin on Monday, June 3. Students registered in those classes will be warned about possible cancellations and closures next week via an emergency text message and social media. All Summer I online classes will go on as scheduled.
  • If additional cancellations are needed, the college may adjust the summer schedule to allow classes to take place on Fridays.
Registration: The planned walk-in registration day on Friday, May 31, is canceled. Students can register at Academic Advising and Career Services (located at the Business Technology Center, Room 200) on the first day of summer classes on Monday, June 3, or on the first scheduled day of classes if there is a delay.

Updates: The college encourages all students, faculty, and staff to check the UACCM website, Facebook, and Twitter for updates and additional cancellations. Communications will also be shared over email and the emergency text messaging system.
