UACCM Registration Dates to Continue Until Aug. 14

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will continue to hold Walk-In Registration days until Saturday, Aug. 12 at noon. If unable to meet with an advisor during these times, new students will still be able to register on Monday, Aug. 14, but only for classes that have not met yet.


UACCM Walk-In Registration Dates:

Aug. 8:            8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (in University Center)
Aug. 9-11:       8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (in Business Technology Center)
Aug. 12:          9 a.m. – Noon (in Business Technology Center
Aug. 14:          8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (in Business Technology Center)

UACCM PN Has Third Straight Year of 100% NCLEX Pass Rate

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) Practical Nursing program has posted a 100% pass rate on the most recent round of NCLEX board exams. This is the third straight year of UACCM PN posting a 100% NCLEX pass rate.   “We are so proud of this outstanding accomplishment,” said UACCM Director of Practical Nursing Angie Moore-Strickland. “This is a testament to the dedication of both our students and our faculty,” she continued.   The total pass percent amongst Arkansas PN programs for 2025 was at 92 percent, with the national average at 86.7 percent.   Additionally, the UACCM pass rate for students seeking associate degrees in nursing programs in 2025 was 96.5 percent, exceeding both the Arkansas average of 85.5 percent and national average of 87.5 percent.   “Our nursing department is committed to excellence in nursing education, and we strive to prepare highly competent, compassionate, and practice-ready nurses,” said...

Hall M. Calhoun III Scholarship Established at UACCM

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) is honored to share that the Hall M. Calhoun III Scholarship has been established as a new Foundation scholarship at the college.   The scholarship is established by Judy Calhoun in memory of her late husband Hall Calhoun.   Hall graduated from Morrilton High School in 1957 and after earning a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas, he returned to Morrilton and served as owner/manager of Oates-Calhoun Farms, Inc for over 50 years.   In addition, Hall also served on the Morrilton School Board for 8 years, Petit Jean State Bank Board for over 30 years, and on the Conway County Farm Bureau Board for 48 years.   “UACCM is so thankful to Judy and the entire Calhoun family for letting UACCM carry on the memory of Hall through this scholarship,” said UACCM Development Officer Lauren Bryan.   “Hall’s dedication to Morrilton left a generational impact on the ...
