UACCM's 2017 Kids College To Start June 5

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton’s 2017 Kids College is now open for enrollment. From Monday, June 5, to Thursday, June 8, your child will venture under the sea to explore the world’s oceans and all of the incredible creatures that inhabit them.

Children entering first through fourth grades in August can participate in this four-day adventure filled with creation, imagination, education, and fun. The Arkansas Game & Fish Commission will also display its large mobile aquarium, featuring native fish and turtles, on the last day. Classes will run from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. starting in Kirk Building 116, so be sure your child brings a sack lunch and an afternoon snack. There are a limited number of openings, which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost to attend is $75 per child.

To enroll a child, go to Click on the “see courses currently available” button and scrolls down to “Kids College” to register. Registration must be completed by May 5. Any questions may be sent to Vicki Shadell at, or at (501) -977-2132.
