#MoreInMorrilton Information Session Planned for March 11

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will hold a "#MoreInMorrilton" information session on March 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium. This event is designed to give community members and prospective students of all educational backgrounds the opportunity to learn more about UACCM. 

 Along with learning about the college's campus, various support and financial aid services, a student panel will give a presentation on "what they wish they had known" during the event. Attendees will also be able to visit with instructors and representatives from every program UACCM has to offer. Areas of interest include: 

  • General Education (Transfer Programs)
  • Air Conditioning, Heating, & Refrigeration Technology
  • Automotive Service Technology
  • Business
  • Collision Repair & Refinishing Technology
  • Computer Information Systems Technology
  • Drafting 
  • Early Childhood Development
  • Education
  • Health Science (Nursing & EMT)
  • Industrial Mechanics & Maintenance Technology
  • Surveying
  • Welding

Officials from Conway School District and the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) gathered in the James H. UACCM Sees Largest Fall Enrollment Since 2011

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has reported a preliminary fall enrollment of 2,250 credit students. The growth comes despite financial aid delays due to issues with the new FAFSA form, as well as UACCM transferring to Workday Student, a new student information system.  The 2,250 credit students serve as the highest fall enrollment at UACCM since 2011. “I am so proud of the entire UACCM faculty and staff for their tireless work in overcoming multiple odds this year from standard recruitment competition to the new University of Arkansas systemwide Workday Student implementation, to the Department of Education’s FAFSA revamp disorder. UACCM Breaks Ground on Nursing and Science Center

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) broke ground for the new $16 million Nursing and Science Center on Friday.  The two-story, 36,000 square-foot Nursing and Science Center will be located southwest of Technology Building II on the UACCM campus and will feature seven science labs and classrooms, ten nursing labs and classrooms, and two student lounges for studying.  In attendance for the groundbreaking was Arkansas Rep. Rick Beck, University of Arkansas System President Dr. Donald R. Bobbitt, Conway County Judge Jimmy Hart, Morrilton Mayor Allen Lipsmeyer, District Director for Rep.
