UACCM Foundation Invites Public to 'Just Stay Home'

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Foundation will, as it has for the last 12 years, will hold its fall fundraiser this month. But instead of dressing up and driving to Just Desserts, this year the UACCM Foundation is inviting its donors to sit this one out — literally.

To put things into perspective, the cost of the event ticket, silent auction bids, raffle tickets and one’s dry cleaning bill (not to mention the 5,000 calories from those delicious hors d'oeuvres), can add up to a lot. The Foundation’s “Just Stay Home” benefit invites supporters of the college to enjoy their time at home while making a 100 percent tax deductible contribution to the UACCM Foundation Annual Fund, which supports the college’s programs, services and campus improvements.

For $25, you and your guest can “not” attend, or for $50, you and your guest will “not” purchase raffle tickets. $100 allows you to “not” sponsor a table. Whichever way you wish to “not” participate, please RSVP by contributing to this event by Oct. 31.

Anyone who wishes to contribute to the UACCM Foundation through the “Just Stay Home” benefit may do so by making a gift online at www.uaccm.edu/GivetoUACCM, mailing a check or money order to 1537 University Blvd., Morrilton, AR 72110, or by contacting Development Officer Morgan Zimmerman at (501) 977-2085. Additional information can be found on the “Just Stay Home” benefit event page found at www.facebook.com/GivetoUACCM.
