UACCM Announces Links for Learning Results

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Foundation’s 11^th annual “Links for Learning” golf tournament fundraiser, held May 19, 2016, raised almost $9,000.  This money will support programs and scholarships through the UACCM Foundation General Fund.  The tournament was held at the Morrilton Country Club and had 30 participating teams.

Winners each received gift boxes from Petit Jean Meats.  Results from the tournament are as follows:

Championship Flight

1^st Place:  ESS Transportation – Brandon Zinser, Luke Beck, Stuie Palmer

2^nd Place:  SWN Team 1 – Dave Ward, Matt Leavell, Cruz Bonds

3^rd Place:  Conway County Farm Bureau – Nelson Ennis, Steve Burris, Greg Koch

First Flight

1^st Place:  Agri Coop – Charlie Hamilton, Bobby Davidson, Doug Stevens

2^nd Place:  Petit Jean State Bank – Michelle Warren, Vickie Cupp, Lucky Warren

3^rd Place:  SWN Team 2 – Dale Bennett, Keith Clay, Michael Bennett

Second Flight

1^st Place:  Arvest Bank – Will Fisher, Mike Massey, Brittany Tolliver

2^nd Place:  Paul Young, Terry Resecker, Paul Cree

3^rd Place:  Gary Cameron, Jeff Burnside, Steven Pearce

Closest to Pin contest was sponsored by Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. and won by Brandon Zinser.  Paul Cree won the Longest Putt contest, sponsored by Conway County Farm Bureau.  The Longest Drive contest was sponsored by MAHG Architecture and won by Gary Childress.

The Golf Ball Drop was won by Carl Birkner, who took home the $850 cash prize when the ball he purchased landed in the hole.  Albert Kordsmeier won a $50 cash prize purchasing the ball that landed furthest from the hole.
