Still time to enroll in the Four-Week Basic Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Class!

It’s Here!! For the first time UACCM Workforce and Community Education is offering Basic Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance as a four-week class.  

Beginning Wednesday, March 9, 2016, this class meets from 3:00- 9:00 Monday through Friday.  Those who are dislocated (laid off) or have been unemployed 27+ weeks may be eligible for financial assistance.  In addition, scholarships may be available to anyone laid off from the gas and oil industry.  For those who are working or do not meet the above criteria and want to take the class, the cost is only $400.

The 117 hours of training includes 27 hours of hydraulics and pneumatics, 18 hours of basic welding, 37 hours of basic electrical theory, 17 hours of schematics/blueprints, 12 hours of OSHA for general industry, and 6 hours of job search and resume.
