Toltec Mounds to Present at UACCM

University of Arkansas Community College in Morrilton will be hosting the Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park on November 17th.  Sponsored by UACCM’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, this free event is offered as part of Native American Heritage Month. 
Amy Griffin, park interpreter will present the program Historic Tribes of Arkansas and will also have the Native American Tools and Weapons Demonstration.  In addition, Griffin will have native mammal fur on display for attendees to pass around.
Griffin is a graduate of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Parks Administration and is a certified interpretive guide.
Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park is one of Arkansas's two archeological sites, with an archeological research station, and is also a state park.
