PERSONAL EXERCISE TRAINER CERTIFICATION OFFERED AT UACCM
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton has partnered with the National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA) for a training event March 7 and 8. A representative from NETA will conduct a “Personal Trainer Certification” professional development program at UACCM.
The two-day workshop will include demonstrations and practical application for one-on-one training. NETA’s expert trainer will provide a general review of exercise science, communication skills, exercise programming, health assessments and more. A discounted registration fee of $399 is available until Feb. 4. After that date, the fee is $449. Since this is the first time a NETA program has been offered in the Morrilton area, UACCM anticipates seats will be reserved quickly.
The workshop registration fee includes a written exam and two-year certificate. NETA’s Personal Trainer Certification is accredited by NCCA, which is the gold standard in the industry.
For additional information, please contact UACCM Director of Community Education Kim Darling at darling@uaccm.edu or 501-977-2189.
