UACCM Theatre Department's spring play cancelled, hopes to return in fall
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the UACCM Theatre Department’s production of "Kindertransport" has been cancelled. The department hopes to bring the play to UACCM next fall.
Norman & Wingo Family Honor Mother with Nursing Classroom
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has dedicated a classroom in its new Nursing and Science Center to long-time Morrilton resident Sue (Suzanne) Wingo. Wingo moved to Morrilton in 1962, where she and her husband, Virgil, raised their family of 12. Throughout her career, Wingo worked at several local businesses, including Arrow Automotive and Pioneer Southern, and completed bookkeeper training at Petit Jean Vo-Tech, now UACCM. “I am so proud this amazing training facility is in our little town of Morrilton, and I am so proud to have my name in it,” Wingo said. A respected member of the community, Wingo has always emphasized the values of fellowship and education—lessons she passed on to her children.
