Songs of the 60s



The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton’s Jazz Ensemble SoundScape presents “Songs of the 60’s” on May 3 & 4 at 7:00pm in the UACCM Plaza. Attendees will be treated to a wonderful evening with musical performances of many of the popular hits from the 1960’s including “Stand By Me,” “California Dreamin’,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “My Girl,” and more. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at the UACCM University Center Cashier's Window. Tickets will also be available at the door. UACCM PN Has Third Straight Year of 100% NCLEX Pass Rate

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) Practical Nursing program has posted a 100% pass rate on the most recent round of NCLEX board exams. This is the third straight year of UACCM PN posting a 100% NCLEX pass rate.   “We are so proud of this outstanding accomplishment,” said UACCM Director of Practical Nursing Angie Moore-Strickland. “This is a testament to the dedication of both our students and our faculty,” she continued.   The total pass percent amongst Arkansas PN programs for 2025 was at 92 percent, with the national average at 86.7 percent.   Additionally, the UACCM pass rate for students seeking associate degrees in nursing programs in 2025 was 96.5 percent, exceeding both the Arkansas average of 85.5 percent and national average of 87.5 percent.   “Our nursing department is committed to excellence in nursing education, and we strive to prepare highly competent, compassionate, and practice-ready nurses,” said...
