Arts Alliance Club Announcement

On Sunday March 11th, the UACCM Arts Alliance Club will provide open studio time, between 1:30 -5:00 pm to work and plan art focused activities for the upcoming year in the Fine Arts Building Room 112. These activities include events like the trip to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art over spring break.

The upcoming trip to Crystal Bridges Museum is open to all UACCM and there is no fee for the museum. If you appreciate art, architecture or design then you will enjoy this trip. If you want to join us, need a ride let the Arts Alliance Club know. This is great way to relax and enjoy some beautiful artwork during spring break.

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton has announced that it will offering a ten-day guided travel excursion to London, Paris, Florence, and Rome for UACCM students and members of the community. The excursion, booked through EF College Study Tours, will take place May 13-22, 2013. UACCM Art Instructor Tina Selanders Lake, of Russellville, will be the group leader for this tour and has been leading college and community tours to Europe since 2010. The travel costs for students is $3,286.00 and for adults (age 30+) the cost is $3,496.00. For both age groups there is also a $95.00 enrollment fee due at registration. Those who are interested should sign up before March 31, 2012 to lock in the current price of the trip. These prices include air travel, hotel costs, most meals, and daily activities. Student Onboarding Due March 25

In preparation for Fall 2024 advising & registration, students should log into Workday and complete a series of tasks called Student Onboarding : Students should log in to Workday and complete these tasks:  Navigate to  myapps.microsoft.com  in a web browser.  Log in with your UACCM email and password when prompted. You may also be prompted to authenticate using an authenticator app or secure code.  A dashboard with multiple apps will display. Locate the blue app titled “Workday” and select it.  You are now logged into Workday!  Once logged in, you will do the Federal Student Aid Authorization and then complete My Tasks .  This will include such things editing your contact information (if necessary), editing your personal information (if necessary), adding My Friends and Family (emergency contact information), and other tasks. When entering your My Friends and Family information, you must select Emergency Contact as one of the relationship types or you will get an error message .

UACCM Eclipse Parking

  The following guidelines apply to any vehicles parked on the UACCM campus at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. FOR VISITORS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  Purchase an eclipse parking pass for $100 from the either of the tents located on University Boulevard  (🟧 on map). You are allowed to park anywhere in eclipse parking (blue on map). FOR STUDENTS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  You are allowed to park in eclipse parking (blue on map), free of charge. You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.  FOR STUDENTS CONDUCTING BUSINESS: You may park in the parking lot in front of the UC and BTC (pink on map). You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.

Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023, Zaybrau Williams, a little more. Why did you choose UACCM? I chose UACCM because of the community size and the various opportunities that are available to me. From being raised in a small community, UACCM felt like home. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming, it made choosing UACCM so easy. What are your educational and career goals?
