Fall Graduates! We need your feedback!

The graduate surveys for our fall graduates are now being posted to ANGEL. The survey will remain open until midnight Friday, December 2nd. The survey is completely confidential and enables UACCM to get feedback for improvements in our programs and UACCM in general. If there is someone that is graduating and they do not have a survey, they need to contact their advisor or Sheila Sommers in the Registrar’s office.

UACCM PN Has Third Straight Year of 100% NCLEX Pass Rate

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) Practical Nursing program has posted a 100% pass rate on the most recent round of NCLEX board exams. This is the third straight year of UACCM PN posting a 100% NCLEX pass rate.   “We are so proud of this outstanding accomplishment,” said UACCM Director of Practical Nursing Angie Moore-Strickland. “This is a testament to the dedication of both our students and our faculty,” she continued.   The total pass percent amongst Arkansas PN programs for 2025 was at 92 percent, with the national average at 86.7 percent.   Additionally, the UACCM pass rate for students seeking associate degrees in nursing programs in 2025 was 96.5 percent, exceeding both the Arkansas average of 85.5 percent and national average of 87.5 percent.   “Our nursing department is committed to excellence in nursing education, and we strive to prepare highly competent, compassionate, and practice-ready nurses,” said...

UACCM Named an Opportunity College by Carnegie

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has been designated as a Carnegie Classifications Opportunity College & University (OCU) by the Carnegie Foundation and the American Council on Education for its leadership in prioritizing both student access and success. “UACCM is extremely proud to receive this recognition and grateful to both the Carnegie Foundation and the American Council on Education,” said UACCM Chancellor Lisa Willenberg. “This designation is indicative of UACCM’s never-ending commitment to providing students with high quality, relevant, and up-to-date education and training,” Willenberg said. UACCM is one of 60 community colleges nationwide that has earned an OCU designation in Carnegie’s new 2025 Student Access and Earnings Classification. Arkansas Asphalt Pavement Association/Lorie Harris Tudor Endowment Scholarship Established at UACCM

  The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) has established the Arkansas Asphalt Pavement Association/Lorie Harris Tudor Endowment Scholarship.   The endowment is established by former Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) Director Lorie Tudor, along with the Arkansas Asphalt Pavement Association (AAPA), for non-credit workforce training programs, the first-ever endowed scholarship aimed at students in non-credit workforce programs.   “The Arkansas Asphalt Pavement Association/Lorie Harris Tudor Endowment Scholarship is the first of its kind at UACCM,” said UACCM Dean of Workforce Education and Training Dr. Jessica Allred.   “This is the first endowment earmarked for short-term training at UACCM and allows for additional support and opportunities for students,” Allred said.   Tudor presented a personal gift of $20,000, and the AAPA made a $5,000 contribution, making the endowment a total of $25,00...
