Here are a couple scholarships that you may be interested in!
501 Life Scholarship by the Conway Business & Professional Women (CBPW) Organization
Scholarship Award: $501
Criteria:
- Preference given to a non-traditional, female student 25 years old or older attending a college/university in the 501 area code
- Recipient must maintain a 2.5 grade point average
- Write essay outlining your educational and professional goals, along with involvement in community service or extra activities
- Three recommendation forms
Deadline: October 2, 2011
Applications may be picked up in the UACCM Financial Aid Office.
National Farmworkers Jobs Program (NFJP)
If you have worked on a farm in the past two years and are interested in learning a new skill or trade, this organization is offering you and/or your wife or children the opportunity to enroll in the National Farmworkers Jobs Program. Under the NFJP Program, you may be eligible for paid tuition, books, supplies, and a stipend.
