On March 10, Timberwolves everywhere will unite for one day of giving – a day long giving event that will support UACCM students and programs. Today, we highlight UACCM student Jamie Palm, who has combined her determination and perseverance with the on-campus aid that UACCM provides to pave the way to a better future. "I notice the Timberwolf pantries everywhere I go. Students don't have to wait, they can grab what they need if they need it," said Jamie. She continued, "There's been many times that I have gone and grabbed a snack to get through the day. It comes in clutch when my funds are low or I am running in between classes each day." Another on-campus aid that UACCM offers is the Student Emergency Fund. The Student Emergency Fund exists to help any UACCM student meet a temporary or unexpected financial need to stay in school. If I had realized all the resources and support available to students at UACCM, I would have started here sooner," said Shelbi. Shelbi notes the benefit of joining student organizations for her future, but notes how the cost to join can deter students from participating. "I'm joining Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society because I know that group can open doors for me in the future. People may not realize how big of an impact their donation can make."
