University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) employees, students, and members of the community attended the topping-out ceremony for the new Nursing and Science Center currently be constructed on the UACCM campus. Those in attendance signed the beam and watched as it was installed atop the new facility. UACCM Chancellor Lisa Willenberg opened the ceremony by thanking several of the donors and community leaders that have helped bring the project to fruition, including Nabholz Construction of Conway, who have been constructing the facility since May. Brad Hegeman, Vice Chairman & Chief Strategy Officer of Nabholz Construction, also spoke and touted a 100% safety record on the construction of the facility to this point. Also speaking at the ceremony was Gregg Long, Vice President of Infrastructure at Crafton-Tull, the architectural design firm for the facility, Morrilton Mayor Allen Lipsmeyer, and Conway County Judge Jimmy Hart.
